However, Kapil Sharma’s onscreen wife Sumona Chakravarti’s absence in the show raised a lot of questions. Sumona Chakravarti and Kapil Sharma’s duo was loved by the audience be it due to their humorous fights or taunts on each other.
Sumona Chakravarti recently talked to a news channel and addressed the issue of her not being part of The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show. Sumona Chakravarti revealed that she has no answer for her absence. The Bade Ache Lagte Hain actress also stated that she has been going out and meeting news people and trying to network to find some new work. While the actress didn’t reveal the reason for quitting The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show, there are speculations that she is going to be a part of the reality show. There are chances that Sumona Chakravarti will now be seen in Rohit Shetty’s stunt show Khatron Ke Khiladi.
Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 14 is all set to air on Colours TV. There has been an announcement regarding the contestants that will be part of the show. Sumona Chakravarti’s name is also on the list along with Krishna Shroff, Gashmeer Mahajani, Abhishek, Samarth Jurel and others.
Also, once during an interview, Sumona Chakravarti revealed that people loved her character from Bade Ache Lagte Hain featuring Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar. She added that she wants to go back to doing films and serials as acting is her first love and passion.
