Recently, Kabaddi player Sandeep Nangal alias Ambiya's wife, Rupinder Kaur, has claimed that justice has not been served yet in her husband's murder case. She alleged that many more people involved in the murder are still roaming freely, and the police have not apprehended them.

Kaur came live on social media and made this claim. She stated that last year, she had appealed to the authorities and even met with police officials, but no one had listened to her. However, after meeting with the Chief Minister's wife, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, on Sandeep's death anniversary, she provided her with the names of those involved in the murder, along with all the facts. After an investigation, the police have arrested the mastermind of the murder, Surjan Chatha.

While speaking to the media, Kaur gave credit for Chatha's arrest to the Chief Minister and his wife. She also thanked the government for taking action against Chatha. However, she appealed to the government to arrest the other accused who are still at large. She stated that she did not want any other family to go through the same trauma that her family had gone through.

Kaur had previously accused the police of not taking action and had stated that she had provided evidence to the SSP, but he had asked her to provide more proof. She alleged that she had told the SSP that the accused in Sandeep Nangal's murder was sitting in the Kartar Palace in Jalandhar, but no action was taken.

International Circle Style Kabaddi player Sandeep Nangal alias Ambiya was shot dead by five assailants in Mallian village of Nakodar on March 14 last year, during an ongoing tournament. The assailants fired around 20 rounds at Sandeep, killing him on the spot. The incident took place around 6 pm when Sandeep had reached the village for the ongoing tournament. There was chaos in the stadium due to indiscriminate firing in the middle of the match.

The accused came in a white-colored car, and Sandeep was shot from the mouth to the chest. The murder had shocked the Kabaddi community and the entire state. The police had promised swift action, but the case had remained unsolved until now.

Kaur's revelations have raised questions about the police's handling of the case and the justice system in the state. The authorities have assured the public that they will take swift action against the remaining accused and ensure that justice is served in the case.
