The actor's father, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, directed the first film, "Koi... Mil Gaya," which was released in 2003.

“Krrish 4” is said to include a story that includes the magical alien Jadoo from “Koi... Mil Gaya.”
For those unversed, Hrithik played a specially-abled youngster who receives superpowers as a gift from an alien who helps him return to his planet while Jadoo was stranded on Earth in the film.
The makers have considered using time travel to connect the creature with Hrithik Roshan's character, according to a source who spoke to the entertainment portal.
The story of Krishna, the son of the last film's protagonist Rohit, who inherits his father's superhuman abilities and assumes the identity of the titular hero in the mask, is told in "Krrish." In the film, Hrithik Roshan played the roles of Rohit, Krishna, and Krrish.

Rakesh Roshan revealed in 2018 that the fourth film of the "Krrish" franchise will be released on Christmas Day 2020.In a previous interview, Hrithik said that after the release of "War," the fourth film of "Krrish" will begin filming.
