The rap superstar and husband Kenneth Petty have been sued by a woman who has accused Kenneth of allegedly raping her back in 1994.
The couple has been trying to fix the problem but while they tried to clean up the mess, the woman went vocal about being harassed by the two to change her statement.
The woman is now 43 and says that she was attacked by Kenneth when she was a 16-year-old in Queens, New York City. Kenneth was arrested in suspicion of rape and later pleaded guilty.
He served four and a half years in prison for the same. Nicki Minaj was called out for reaching out to the family of the victim and trying to change her statement.
She was also noticed lying to her fans about the same through her social media page. According to the lawsuit registered against Nicki, the 38 year old rapper had offered the victim a sum of $500,000 to change her statement.
Kenneth, 43 was arrested in 2020 March after failing to register as a sex offender in the state of California. After Minaj made the call to negotiate with the victim turned the offer down.
While the victim was on the phone with Minaj she told her that “ I need you to know woman to woman, that this happened.” within a short period of time after the negotiation offer was declined, the victim and her family had received threat calls.
It also came to light how Nicki was all in to make the victim take her words back and change her statement. There were multiple offers that were made even after the first time she denied.

Nicki said that she will be giving her $20,000 cash and a video message wishing her daughter on her 16th birthday “as a bonus.”
