An astounding thing is waiting for the people of India, especially Mumbai. The government of Maharashtra has announced it is gearing up to create a Disney-inspired amusement park. The project will be created with the combined efforts of the government and Niti Aayog.
It is anticipated the project will be a tourist spot for both national and international tourists. According to the details shared by the government and the officials included in the project, the theme park will span 20 hectares.
As per an Instagram page named “luxuriousbymm”, the park will feature different entertainment zones, animation studios, water parks, and resorts. Notably, a page by the page shared a post with the caption, “The Maharashtra government, in collaboration with Niti Aayog, has announced plans to develop a Disneyland-inspired amusement park in Navi Mumbai.
Spanning 200 hectares, this will be India’s largest theme park, featuring entertainment zones, water parks, resorts, and animation studios.”

The officials have claimed that the project will be operational by 2030 as the construction of the same will commence from 2025-2026. City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) will be responsible for the land allocation of India's largest theme park.
Reportedly, the government and Niti Aayog aim to create jobs, boost tourism, and enhance the local economy with this project. Strategically, the theme park will be built near the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport, which will be the perfect place for visitors to chill or rejuvenate.
