Jammu and Kashmir’s railway connectivity is about to reach a milestone, with the inauguration of the world’s highest railway bridge, which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on April 19, during this visit to Udhampur.
This trip will commemorate two big events for the Indians: first, the inauguration of the world’s highest railway bridge - Chenab Bridge, and the flag of the Vande Bharat Express to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, making the first express train of the region.

- The total distance covered by the train will be 272 kilometers in just 3 hours, significantly reducing the traveling time.
