WTC Final: New Zealand sports website humiliates Virat Kohli after team India’s loss

The offensive image featured Virat Kohli and New Zealand pacer Kyle Jamieson who dismissed Indian Captain twice in both innings of the WTC final.

A notable New Zealand’s sports entertainment website - The AccNZ has uploaded a meme of Indian Captain Virat Kohli in a distasteful manner referring to his dismissal by pacer Kyle Jamieson in the World Test Championship (WTC) final twice. However, New Zealand players are known for their gentle attitude and called nice guys this has not gone good with the Indian cricket lovers 

On its Instagram account, The AccNZ has posted an image that has been receiving backfire from the time it was uploaded. In the picture, a woman can be seen putting a strap around a man's neck. The woman is named Kiwi bowler Kyle Jamieson, while Virat Kohli is the strangulated man.

The photo resembles a disgraceful mockery of Kohli for losing the finals of WTC. After the eight-wicket loss against New Zealand in the WTC final, Virat Kohli has been ridiculed and insulted by various Twitter users and New Zealand publications. Whether they are sarcasm or serious we don’t know, however, this has enraged the Indian audience. 


The Indian cricket team was overshadowed by Jamieson’s excellent bowling and New Zealand was crowned Test World Champions where Virat twice knocked over by Jamieson. 

Kyle Jamieson was named Man of the Match in appreciation of his great performance. 

Virat was seen congratulating him for their team’s victory. 

The AccNZ website, which provides cricket and other sports commentary on New Zealand is a verified publication that has more than 45k followers on Instagram.

However, the website’s actions are unacceptable and completely distasteful to humiliate a cricketer and India’s captain who has proved his merit at several matches.
