WWE Wrestler John Cena pays tribute to late actor Sidharth Shukla

Sidharth Shukla’s last rites were performed by his mother, in the presenc eof Shehnaaz Gill, and a few other friends and co-stars of Sidharth at Oshiwara crematorium.

WWE wrestler and now Hollywood actor John Cena payed tribute to the late actor through his social media. On Friday, the wrestler took to his Instagram to post a black and white picture of late actor Sidharth Shukla paying his tribute. 


Although John did not write a caption to the post, fans quickly flooded the comments section with condolences. The post soon received a lot of media attention and the post was liked by many stars from the entertainment  industry known to Sidharth, including Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor.


In an interesting fact, John Cena has always been active in sharing the pictures of Indian actors and paying them his respects. Before this, John Cena had also posted about Indian actors such as Rishi Kapoor, Irrfan Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput on his Instagram handle.


The post was flooded by comments by fans saying “ John Cena Tributes to Sid”, “ Thanks Cena for the post” and many more where fans were expressing their curiosity of how he knew Sidharth.


The actor was laid to rest on September 3rd, 2021 at the Oshiwara crematorium. The autopsy reports which came back had stated that Sidharth had no injuries present on his body, and that he had dies of a heart attack and not by any suspicious cause.

As rumors spread like wild fire, the whole autopsy was recorded and taped so that there were no chances of fiddling or tampering done. Many known faces from the industry including, Varun Dhawan, Rashami Desai, Darshan Raval and Asim Riaz were seen at Sidharth’s residents to pay their last respects.
