XAT 2022 – Xavier’s Amplitude Test 2022, has been concluded today, on Sunday (January 2, 2022). The exam was conducted from 9:30 am to 12:40 pm in computer-based mode. In this year, the exam was divided into two sections and five parts and was of 101 questions, out of these 100 were MCQs and one was a descriptive-type question.
Part-1 consisted of questions on verbal and logical ability, decision making, and quantitative ability and data interpretation, whereas Part-2 had questions on general knowledge and essay writing. Essay Writing was a new section in the exam.
Marking Scheme:-
Every question in the exam was worth one mark, whereas, every wrong answer will deduct 0.25 marks. XLRI will additionally deduct 0.10 marks for each unanswered question, this, however, will be implemented after 8 unanswered questions.
Expected Cut-off:-
The predicted cut-off for this year’s exam is as follows:
- GIM, Goa – 86+ marks
- SPJIMR, Mumbai and IMI, Delhi – 90+ marks
- XIM, Bhubaneswar and IMT, Ghaziabad – 90+ marks
- XLRI, Jamshedpur – 95 to 96 marks
Result 2022:-
The result of the exam will be announced only on the official site of the college – xatonline.in. XLRI usually announces the result within three weeks, which depicts that the result will be announced in the last week of January or the first week of February.
Exam Analysis:-
Students must note that the answer key will be released soon. It is also expected that the exam analysis will be provided by the educators on websites, youtube and other digital platforms.
