It has been 10 years since the film Delhi Belly has been made. Imran Khan, Vir Das and Kunal Roy Kapur starrer this film made a lot of headlines. While its song Bhaag DK Bose remained popular among youngsters, many also objected to it. In such a situation, on how Bhaag Bose was prepared and what is the story behind it, the film's director Abhinav Dev shares a very interesting anecdote in an exclusive interview.
Abhinav says, 'I was looking for the hook line of the song from the music director Ram Sampat which could exactly matches the flavour of the film story. I rejected three of his songs while sitting Ram Sampath's studio with my team late night.Called Aamir once we created song
He further said, 'In such a situation, we were also worried that the hook line of the song is not being found. Along with this, gossip was also going on about school-college in the middle. Meanwhile, the team's writer told how he used to modify the abuses in the college of Delhi. He did not abuse, but used to vent his anger by saying DK Bose. Just listening to our talks, Ram Sampat started saying, give me ten minutes, I am getting some idea after listening to you guys. After this he just took 10 minutes to get ready song and the tune .We all became happy after hearing song for the first time and I called up Aamir late at night.
