Youth killed in America by unknown in firing

A resident of Begowal in Kapurthala was killed in a  firing by an unknown car driver in Mississippi, USA. It is reported that the incident occurred while he was working outside a shop. Two people, including the person from Kapurthala, died, and three others were injured. The deceased has been identified as Jasvir Singh, a resident of Begowal. According to information, Jasvir Singh from Begowal in Kapurthala district was working at a store in Mississippi, USA. His father, Vasan Singh, said that his 33-year-old son Jasvir Singh had taken a loan of 4 million rupees a year ago to go to America in search of a better future. He has two children (a daughter and a son). His brother also lives abroad with his family. Vasan Singh also mentioned that Jasvir Singh was working outside a shop a few days ago when some unidentified people in a car started shooting at him indiscriminately. Jasvir Singh and another person present there were killed by the gunfire, while three others were reported injured. He said that the reasons behind this attack are still unknown. The deceased Jasvir Singh's father, Vasan Singh, has demanded that his son's body be brought back to India so that his children can see their father one last time. Regarding this incident, Joseph Wade, the police chief of Jackson city in Mississippi, said on social media that a thorough investigation is being conducted. The injured are currently being treated. He also stated that the attackers came in a black Honda car, and efforts are being made to locate them.
