In tragic news today, 4 youths were killed in a horrific road accident in Harike under District Tarn Taran, According to reports, the youths were returning from their pilgrimage to the Golden Temple in Amritsar and collided with a stationary 18-wheeler truck due to excess fog. The 4 youths who died were all reported to be in their early 20s. They have been identified as Paramjit Singh, Gurdev Singh, Robanpreet Singh and Rajveer Singh. The driver of the car, Balwinder Singh, was critically injured on the spot and rushed to the hospital.

Due to the fact that the fog was thick, the Swift car rammed into the trailer causing serious injuries to the youth when the passersby tried to help them. The youths were taken to the hospital where 4 of them were declared dead.
SHO Kewal Singh, head of Harike Police Station, who reached the spot, said that the youths were riding in the Suzuki Swift. 4 of the youths died on the spot and the bodies of the deceased have been taken into custody.
