Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan's film, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, is finally going to be released on OTT. The hit movie was released last year to much critical and public acclaim. This begs the question, why did it take this long to be released on OTT. Here’s what we know:
Why release it on OTT after a year?
While the film was well-liked by the audience, the movie has not been released on OTT yet. But it will premiere on Jio Cinema on May 17, 2024. The reason for such a late release is that no buyer was found for it to stream on their OTT platform until Jio took the initiative to release it.
This film was made by famous director Laxman Utekar. Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan play the role of husband and wife who decide to get a divorce soon after their marriage. The OTT release was teased on Instagram with the caption, “Sah-parivaar shaadi ki thi, ab sah-parivaar divorce bhi hoga! Toh aap sab #DivorceMeinZaroorAana 💔”
