10 worst-rated Indian movies of 2022 as per IMDb

The worst-rated movie on IMDb’s rating, Parineeti Chopra, starrer Code Name: Tiranga showcases the journey of a bubbly actress’s hunt to change her image from cute to one in action and is rated with a poor 1.8.

Abhimanyu Dassani made his full-fledged Hindi debut on the big screens with “Nikamma” starring alongside Shilpa Shetty and Shirley Setia, it is the lowest-rated film of 2022, with a rating of just 2.4 out of 10.

Tiger’s “Heropanti 2” and Aditya Roy Kapur’s “Om” are ranked 2 in the list of worst IMDb ratings for Bollywood films in 2022 with 2.6 ratings out of 10.

“Dobaaraa” opened with rave reviews from critics but finishes its theatrical run with an estimated 3-4 crore lifetime, domestically. Reportedly, made with 30 crores budget could garner just 2.8 ratings.

The bilingual film (Hindi-Telugu) “Liger” starring the young sensation Vijay Deverekonda is rated 2.9 out of 10 on IMDb making it the 4th worst Bollywood film of 2022.

Kangna’s “Dhaakad” is mounted on a huge scale, it is made with a budget of 85 crores but the flop verdict of the film sent shockwaves within the industry, and could barely manage to earn a rating of 4.0.

Kamal Pandey’s directorial drama Jahaan Chaar Yaar, a film about 4 married women who feel suffocated as housewives, received negative reviews from critics and audiences went to garner just 4.4 ratings on IMDb.

Shamshera was expected to end the dry run of the Hindi film industry at the box office conversely this 100-150 crores film theatrical run turn out to be a huge disappointment and was rated 4.9 on the IMDb.

2022 saw big guns of the film industry failing too, which added the names of Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan whose films Rakhshabandhan and Laal Singh Chadha earned humble 5- and 5.4-stars ratings only.
