The actress was suffering from liver illness and was admitted to the hospital on January 28
She took her last breath on February 22 in Kochi
She began her career as a Mimicry artist in the Cochin Kalabhavan troupe

Subi is known for her comic roles in many Malayalam movies like 'Happy Husband', 'Kanaka Simhasanam' etc.
She was popular for her quick wit and excellent comic timing
Subi excelled as an anchor in 'Kuti Pattalum' and was last seen in the game show 'Labour room'
