Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra Group, announces the commencement of deliveries of ‘Armado’ by Mahindra Defence Systems (MDS).
The ‘Armado’ is an Armoured Light Specialist Vehicle (ALSV) developed and manufactured indigenously by MDS.
Designed for the Indian armed forces, the vehicle offers extra load bearing capacity and is suitable for counter-terrorist operations and patrolling in tense areas.
The ALSV is intended for use by special forces and quick reaction teams, enhancing their operational capabilities.
