Royal Enfield Plans to Launch its First Electric Bike in 2025: CEO Siddhartha Lal Shares Company’s Future Plans

By True Scoop

CEO Siddhartha Lal of Royal Enfield announced that the company plans to launch its first electric bike in 2025.

This information was shared after announcing the results of the first quarter of FY-2024.

Lal stated that the company has been working hard on the launch of the new bike, which has already reached the prototype stage.

The electric bike will be manufactured in Royal Enfield’s existing setup, targeting an output of 150,000 units.

Royal Enfield has collaborated with Spanish electric bike manufacturer ‘Stark Future’ for the development of the electric vehicle (EV).

Lal expressed that the company will not rush into the market trend, but focus on delivering a quality product in the name of EV.

In the meantime, Royal Enfield is also planning to launch the new generation Bullet 350 in India on August 30th.

The expected price range for the new generation Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is between 1.50 to 2.50 lakh rupees, making it potentially the cheapest Royal Enfield motorcycle in India after launch.

The new Bullet 350 will have several updated features, including a single-seat design, spoked rims, and an updated instrument cluster, among other things.
