Founded by the College Licensing Company (CLC) in 2004, National College Colors Day, fans wear the apparel of their favourite college or university throughout the day. National College Colors Day is celebrated by thousands of organisations, classrooms, and millions of individuals.
In 2015, CLC (College Licensing Company) launched the College Colors Challenge. Giving fans a chance to flaunt their colors and express their school spirit. The challenges revolve around three different categories represented by the hashtags: #SQUADPIC (large group), #FAMPHOTO (family), and #SELFIE (individual).
