Wade Steven Wilson is a Floridian man, who is also known as the ‘Deadpool Killer’ belongs to Fort Myers. He was grown up in the Tallahassee area before he moved to Lee County. He was born to underage parents and was given up for adoption. He was adopted by Steve and Candy Wilson. Wilson has multiple tattoos engraved on his face. The design includes stitches, a swastika, and the word, 'glory' written in cursive. Wilson shares his name with the Marvel character Deadpool.

Wilson is charged for First-degree murder (two counts), Grand theft, Battery, Burglary and Petty theft. He also faces 'attempted escape from jail' and 'drug' charges.

Wade Steven Wilson was convicted in June 2019, for the murders two Floridian women. This heavily-tattooed criminal has murdered Kristine Melton, a 35 years-old lady and Diane Ruiz, a 43 years-old lady.  He was sentenced to death by the Floridian Judge on Tuesday, 27th August.

During the courtroom hearing, doctors testified about his mental illness. A letter written by his adoptive parents, Steve and Candy Wilson, was read during the hearing session. In the letter, his parents pleaded to the court for sparing him the death penalty which was recommended by a jury member.

"You can't possibly understand how sorry we are for the families affected by this tragedy. We cannot change the past but we wish we could," his parents said in the letter.

“He was ‘a joyful child’ until his teen years, when he began to slip away from us, becoming withdrawn, erratic and depressed at first. Then, as addiction was added to mental illness, he became frankly paranoid and delusional, and the sense of loss became increasingly sharp.”, they added.

His adoptive parents further said, “Taking his life with not bring back those two beautiful women, taking another life only adds to the tragedy. Please see it in your heart not to kill our son."

Wilson remained completely expressionless when he was sentenced to death by the Floridian Judge. Anthony Sizemore, the Cape Coral Police Chief said, “There is no situation where he's going to be walking the streets. An animal like this needs to be put away.”
