In a heartbreaking development, Brazilian bodybuilder and fitness influencer Alana Paiva died at the age of 21. Alana Paiva was in an induced coma for the past ten days in hospital. Apart from Alana Paiva, her boyfriend Uilblim, 43 also died before her. As a result, Brazilians took to X, formerly known as Twitter, and wondered what happened to Alana Paiva or Alana Paiva's death reason? What happened to Alana Paiva?

 

Alana Paiva died in a hit-and-run case when she was sitting on a bike that was being driven by her boyfriend. A minibus driver allegedly smashed into the couple and drove off, before the fitness influencer later died from her injuries in hospital.

 

As per Brazilian media reports, Alana Paiva was on the back of her boyfriend's bike at the time of the crash on October 12. The 21-year-old fitness influencer was immediately taken to hospital and put in an induced coma before she died ten days later. The minibus reportedly made a wrong turn at a junction, smashing into the pair head-on, causing the handlebars of the bike to come off.

 

Alana's beau Uilblim, 43, was apparently able to talk to emergency services after the bus driver allegedly fled the scene. However, he died in hospital four hours later. Uilblim was a cop and the father of an 8-year-old daughter. 

 

Talking about Alana Paiva, the Brazilian bodybuilder enjoyed 5K followers on Instagram and in of her posts she described muscle building as "wonderful sport, which is not just about winning, but about maintaining discipline every day to surpass yourself each time you step on the stage."
