As per Indian Army Fans' post on Facebook, Sepoy Vikram Singh was born on 15 March 1983 in Rewari, Haryana. He was enrolled into 17th Battalion of the Rajput regiment on October 7, 2002. In December 2012, he was deputed to the 44th Battalion of the Rashtriya Rifles and was posted in the Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir. Sepoy Vikram was deployed in an anti-terrorist search operation in a village of Shopian District of Jammu and Kashmir on 25 April 2014.
Sepoy Vikram Singh is survived by his wife Sushila and son, Abhishek Kumar. In one of the song, Seopy Vikram tells Major Mukund that he will teach his son the same song that he taught his daughter.
