The character of Vikram Singh is portrayed by actor Bhuvan Arora. The makers have showcased a special friendship bond between Major Mukund and Sepoy Vikram Singh during their time together in the 44 Rashtriya Rifle. While Major Mukund was awarded Ashok Chakra for his gallantry, Vikram Singh was also awarded Shaurya Chakra for his ultimate sacrifice for the nation. 

The end credit scene reads, "Sepoy Vikram Singh was posthumously awarded 'Shaurya Chakra', India's third highest peacetime gallantry award in 2014. His wife Sushila Singh received it from the President."

All about real-life Sepoy Vikram Singh

As per Indian Army Fans' post on Facebook, Sepoy Vikram Singh was born on 15 March 1983 in Rewari, Haryana. He was enrolled into 17th Battalion of the Rajput regiment on October 7, 2002. In December 2012, he was deputed to the 44th Battalion of the Rashtriya Rifles and was posted in the Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir. Sepoy Vikram was deployed in an anti-terrorist search operation in a village of Shopian District of Jammu and Kashmir on 25 April 2014.

Sepoy Vikram Singh is survived by his wife Sushila and son, Abhishek Kumar. In one of the song, Seopy Vikram tells Major Mukund that he will teach his son the same song that he taught his daughter. 

As Major 'Maddy' Mukund Varadarajan’s friend, Sepoy Vikram assisted the officer in preparation and placing charges in the target house. Sepoy Vikram repeatedly exposed himself to danger as he provided cover to Major Mukund. A video has been posted on the YouTube channel Balidan YT, in which Vikram Singh's mother was heard saying, "Vikram was very good as well as naughty. He was interested in sports. He never used to think about life."
