Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to inaugurate several Vande Bharat Trains on December 30. These include routes from Ayodhya to Anand Vihar and a new route from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra to Delhi. One of the routes, also set to be revealed on December 30 is from Amritsar to Delhi. The timetable of the routes and stoppages of the train is all but publically confirmed. The train is set to complete the journey from Amritsar to Delhi in less than 6 hours. Jalandhar is included in the list of stops for the train. Important to note as well is that according to the time table revealed by our sources, Jalandhar City is included as a stop in the route. Due to various efforts by the Jalandhar officials and severe public outcry, Jalandhar is highly likely to be included in the Amritsar-Delhi Vande Bharat express route.
The Amritsar-Delhi Vande Bharat Express will have stops at Jalandhar City, Ludhiana and Ambala. It will run 6 days of the week and will start at 8:30 A.M. from Amritsar and reach New Delhi at 1:50 P.M. On the return journey, it will start from New Delhi at 3:15 P.M. and reach Amritsar at 8:35 P.M. The timings of the stops are as follows:
The Vande Bharat Express will depart from Amritsar at 8:30 A.M. It will arrive at the Jalandhar City railway station at 9:26 A.M. and will depart after stopping for 2 minutes at 9:28 A.M. After departure from Jalandhar City, the train will arrive at Ludhiana at 10:16 A.M. and will depart at 10:18 A.M. the train will pass through Sahnewal at 10:41 A.M. but will not stop. It will then arrive and stop at Ambala at 11:34 A.M. and depart at 11:36 A.M. It will arrive at the last stop in New Delhi at 1:50 P.M.
On the return journey, the VB express will depart from Delhi at 3:15 P.M. and will reach Ambala at 5:25 P.M. From there it will start at 5:27 P.M. and will reach Ludhiana at 6:36 P.M. It will then depart from Ludhiana at 6:38 P.M and reach Jalandhar at 7:26 P.M. after a 2 minute stay it will arrive at Amritsar at 8:35 P.M.
PM Modi is highly likely to inaugurate 5 Vande Bharat routes on December 30. These include the Ayodhya–Anand Vihar, Vaishno–Devi to Delhi, Coimbatore–Bengaluru, Jalna–Mumbai and Amritsar–Delhi Vande Bharat Express.
