Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann are set to address a rally in Ludhiana, with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) completing preparations. Traffic police have issued detailed route plans to manage potential congestion during the event.
Affected Routes:
1. Samarala Chowk to Chandigarh Side: Traffic will proceed towards Chandigarh via Sherpur Chowk, Doraha, and then head towards Chandigarh through Neelon.
2. Sahnewal Chowk: Traffic will move towards Kohara via Neelon, following the Katani Kala Road through Bhaini Sahib, and proceeding towards Kohara-Machhiwara Road.
3. Neelon Nehr Bridge: Traffic will move towards Ludhiana city from Chandigarh side via Neelon Nehr, bypassing Doraha Bypass and approaching Ludhiana city.
4. Kohara Chowk: Traffic coming from Machhiwara side will approach Ludhiana city via Neelon, passing through Sahnewal Bridge and entering Ludhiana city via Sahnewal Bridge.
5. Tibba Nehr Bridge: Traffic from Dehlon side will enter Ludhiana city via Doraha Bypass or Doraha Road.
6. Verka Cut: Traffic will approach Tibba Nehr Bridge side through Bharat Nagar Chowk, Jagaraon Bridge, and then proceed towards Ludhiana city via Jagraon Bridge.
7. Ramgarh Chowk: Traffic from Samarala Chowk side will approach Ludhiana city via Ludhiana Airport Road, entering the Delhi Highway through Ramgarh Chowk.
Residents are advised to plan their commutes accordingly, considering potential disruptions due to the rally.
