Radha Soami Satsang Beas in its clarification and official message to its sewadars has stated that Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon will continue to be the head of Dera Beas while Jasdeep Singh Gill will remain as his deputy. Radha Soami Satsang Beas in its message asked the Sewadars not to believe certain rumors that Jasdeep Singh Gill will be the new Chief with immediate effect. However, Radha Soami Satsang Beas confirmed that Jasdeep Singh Gill is now Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon's successor and he will serve along with him as his deputy. Below is what Radha Soami Satsang Beas's official message said as shared by a sewadar with True Scoop News-
- There is no handing over of Gurugaddi and no dastar bandi as is being projected in media.
- Baba ji is healthy and will continue to be the Master- Guru of Radha Soami Beas faith and the successor (designate Maharaj) Jasdeep Singh Gill ji will be his deputy and sit with Him and be under the tutelage of Baba ji.
- There is no need for Sangat to rush to Dera Beas as there is no such formal event or ceremony happening.
Please don’t heed to rumours and rush to Beas. Baba ji and His gaddi Nasheen will visit satsang centres together. - All overseas satsangs will be given by new Maharaj ji.
Who is Jasdeep Singh Gill?
Jasdeep Singh Gill, 45, is reportedly a doctorate in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge and an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, alumnus. Baba Jasdeep Singh Gill is also the paternal cousin of Gurinder Singh. He is presently residing in Mumbai. His wife is a doctor by profession. He was earlier working as the Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Management Personnel in Cipla, India. He resigned from the company earlier this year.
Notably, Jasdeep Singh Gill shall also succeed Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon as the Sant Satguru of the Radha Soami Satsang Beas Society and will have the authority of giving initiation (naam). The organisation has a massive following with its headquarters on the banks of Beas river near Amritsar.
He was also associated with Ethris and Achira Labs Private Limited as a board observer. Until March 2024, he was a board member of Wealthy Therapeutics. Earlier, he served at Ranbaxy as executive assistant to the CEO and at Cambridge University Entrepreneurs as the president and chairman.
