Update- A person's mother in the Sewa team of Radha Soami Satsang Beas has been informed that Jasdeep Singh Gill will be Dera Beas Mukhi Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon's deputy, not the head as earlier suggested by the media. The woman in the Sewa team was informed-
- There is no handing over of Gurugaddi and no dastar bandi as is being projected in media.
- Baba ji is healthy and will continue to be the Master- Guru of Radha Soami Beas faith and the successor (designate Maharaj) Jasdeep Singh Gill ji will be his deputy and sit with Him and be under the tutelage of Baba ji.
- There is no need for Sangat to rush to Dera Beas as there is no such formal event or ceremony happening.
- Please don’t heed to rumours and rush to Beas. Baba ji and His gaddi nasheen will visit satsang centres together.
- All overseas satsangs will be given by the new Maharaj ji.

In a major development, Dera Beas Mukhi Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon of Dera Radha Soami located in Beas, Amritsar, Punjab on Monday announced his successor. Spiritual head of Radha Soami Satsang Beas Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon named Jasdeep Singh Gill as his successor. Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon reportedly chose Jasdeep Singh Gill as his successor amid health concerns, however, Dera Beas has refused this. The announcement of Jasdeep Singh Gill's appointment was done via a letter sent to all Sevadar-Incharges. In the letter, it was said that Pujya Sant Satguru and patron of Radha Soami Satsang Beas, Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon has nominated Jasdeep Singh Gill, son of Sukhdev Singh Gill, as the patron of Radha Soami Satsang Beas Society. Who is Jasdeep Singh Gill?
As mentioned above Jasdeep Singh Gill is the son of Sukhdev Singh Gill. Jasdeep Singh Gill, 45, is reportedly a doctorate in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge and an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, alumnus. Baba Jasdeep Singh Gill is also the paternal cousin of Gurinder Singh. He is presently residing in Mumbai. His wife is a doctor by profession. He was earlier working as the Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Management Personnel in Cipla, India. He resigned from the company earlier this year.
Notably, Jasdeep Singh Gill shall also succeed Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon as the Sant Satguru of the Radha Soami Satsang Beas Society and will have the authority of giving initiation (naam). The organisation has a massive following with its headquarters on the banks of Beas river near Amritsar.
He was also associated with Ethris and Achira Labs Private Limited as a board observer. Until March 2024, he was a board member of Wealthy Therapeutics. Earlier, he served at Ranbaxy as executive assistant to the CEO and at Cambridge University Entrepreneurs as the president and chairman.
He has a PhD in chemical engineering from the University of Cambridge and a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology under the exchange programme. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biochemical engineering and biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
