Days after two low-intensity blasts outside two clubs in Chandigarh which once belonged to rapper Badshah, the Police has swung into action. Days after the blast, a club operator was arrested by the Police on Thursday. However, this arrest has nothing to do with the bomb blast. The club operator is accused of demanding ransom from a fellow operator of the same club. It is pertinent to mention here that in an unverified social media post, Lawrence Bishnoi's aide gangster Goldy Brar took the responsibility of the twin blasts.

Chandigarh De'Orra club operator arrested

As per Dainik Bhasker, the accused has been identified as Arjun Thakur. Arjun Thakur is a resident of Sector-49, Chandigarh. He is one of the operators of De'Orra club. Another operator of this club, Nikhil Chaudhary, had lodged an FIR against him. The accused came in between to take advantage of the business position

In the complaint given to the police by Nikhil Chaudhary, who lives in Patiala, Punjab, it has been said that he was a 25 percent shareholder in De'Orra Club. This club is under Prestine Hospitality Company. Some time ago, he sold 10 percent of his shares to Tekchand Singla, a resident of Patiala.

Nikhil in his complaint stated that that Tekchand did not interfere in the running of the club. This was decided when the deal was done. Later, there was some discord between them. To take advantage of this, the club's other partner Arjun Thakur came in between. He was asking for 50 thousand rupees per month.

Nikhil also accused Arjun of pressuring him to transfer the rest of my shares to his name. Even before this, he had verbally threatened him for ransom, as per the complaint. "He was saying that I will have to pay the money. When I refused to give the money, he started threatening to kill me and beat me severely. After this, I stopped going to the club, but some time ago I met him again outside my club. He threatened me again and demanded 50 thousand rupees every month," Nikhil's complaint alleges.

As per the local police, a case has been registered against Arjun for demanding ransom and mentally harassing his partner.
