In a shocking development, a famous Sports TV presenter on Sunday was arrested from his residence by the British authorities after he was accused of raping a child under 10 years old. As per The Sun UK, Police carried out raids at the Sports Presenter's residence at 4 am in the morning. The report further suggests that the British TV Presenter is married and the authorities also searched his property in Southern England. Not only this, the Police seized his computer devices and documents during the raid for investigation.
The news portal did not name the UK Sports Presenter due to legal obligations. The man was questioned by detectives and held in custody for over 18 hours. Thereafter, the British Sports TV presenter was released on bail pending further investigation.
It is alleged the child was raped on more than one occasion over a period of time. The Police have reportedly informed his bosses in the channel. The complainant made the allegation recently and it was reported to police. She was interviewed by specialist child abuse investigation officers at a dedicated suite and an investigation was launched.
