Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday Union Budget 2025 ditching the tradition 'Bahi Khata' and using a Tablet in the Lok Sabha. This was the Modi Government's first full-fledged Budget that was presented in their third term. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced an incentive scheme to promote labor-intensive sectors in Budget 2025. Under this, special schemes will be brought for footwear and leather industry, which will create 22 lakh new employment opportunities.
Additionally, the government plans to introduce schemes to position India as a global hub for toy manufacturing. This includes the development of specialized clusters, with a focus on skill development, innovation, and sustainability. These efforts will help create high-quality, unique, and innovative toys, catering to both domestic and international markets. By focusing on these sectors, the government aims to strengthen India’s position in global trade, increase exports, and generate significant employment opportunities, contributing to the country’s economic growth and industrial development.
