Recently, Shivankit appeared in a Podcast for Digital Commentary and revealed how he was shortlisted by Raj & DK without any audition. Shivankit Parihar said, "I am very bad in auditions. I could never crack any audition. I think I have a low skill level when it comes to cracking auditions. But, Directors have a lot of confidence in me. Like Chaiti (Chaitanya Kumbhakonum, Director of Sixer Season 1), and Apoorv Singh Karki (Director of Aspirants). Whatever work have I done, Directors are my friends. All of them know me, so they have confidence in me. But, in Citadel's case, the good thing that happened is Mukesh Chhabra sir was casting for Sixer then I bonded with him. He did not see my acting. He only talked to me for some time."
"He saw Sixer because he was in casting for that. Then Anurabh Sir (Anurabh Kumar, Founder of TVF) suggested that to try Shivankit after watching Sixer. Then after an agreement with Mukesh Sir and Anurabh Sir, I was pitched to Raj & DK. Luckily, Raj & DK sir wanted an actor who is tall, muscular, and bald-looking. The character that was in Raj & DK's mind, I think matched with me. Then, I was called to their office, they talked to me for 1 hour. They asked my fitness level because too much action was required. This is how I got Citadel without audition," added Shivankit Parihar.
