Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal's hunger strike continued for the seventh day. His weight has reduced by around 5 kg. Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher says that his health is continuously deteriorating. Despite being a cancer patient, he is not taking medicines. The Marjivade group will also march to Delhi with him on 6th December.

Sarwan Singh Pandher held a press conference in Chandigarh on Sunday. He said that the government has time till 5th December for discussions. The Centre has stopped talking to them since 18th January and due to this, the farmers are forced to take this step.

He said that the farmers were accused of going to Delhi with tractor trolleys. But now on 6th December, the farmers will go to Delhi on foot. Four stops have been kept in Haryana for the Marjivade group; the fifth stop will be Delhi.

The group will first stop at Jaggi City Ambala. Then the group will reach Mohra Mandi, Khanpur, Jatta Ke and Pipli. Farmers will spend the night on the roads.

Pandher said that the truth is that Piyush Goyal himself has said that he wants contract farming while farmers want MSP law.

Pandher said that it has also been said in media reports that farmers are not even able to recover their costs. That is the reason farmers are demanding the MSP law.

Farmers are on alert since farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal was taken into custody from Haryana-Punjab's Khanauri border. The farmers themselves have taken care of Dallewal's security. About 70 farmers are deployed on both sides of the front. Farmers are guarding Dallewal in 4-hour shifts.

Farmers said that Dallewal was taken into custody by Punjab Police on 26th November. At that time his weight was about 86 kg. After coming back, his weight has reduced by 4 kg. He is on a fast unto death since 26th November. A new stage has been built on the front for Dallewal. From today, he will continue his fast unto death by sitting here. Farmers have also been put on duty around the stage.

On Saturday, the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha held a meeting with the leaders of farmers' organizations from 6 states. The meeting was chaired by farmer leader PT Zone from Kerala and Guramneet Singh Mangat from Punjab.

In the meeting, arrangements for food, security management and the number of volunteers were discussed.

Dallewal said that after being discharged from Ludhiana DMC Hospital, he said that he was picked up from Khanauri at night and admitted to the hospital. He was not allowed to carry a mobile phone. Other patients were also not allowed to bring mobile phones. The truth was that he was kept under house arrest.

These people tried several times to get him treated, give him medicines, conduct tests.

This fight is to save the future of farmers. The only way to take this fight forward peacefully is that the leaders should prepare to sacrifice their lives. Whatever the Punjab government did, it did it under the influence of the Centre. We have no quarrel with Punjab. The Punjab government has nothing to do with us.
