In terms of Punjab, New Year's Eve is turning out to be memorable as the streets of Ludhiana are buzzing ahead of Diljit Dosanjh's Concert. Punjabi singer & actor Diljit Dosanjh will conclude his famous Dil-Luminati India Tour 2024 with a 'homecoming' grand finale at PAU Football Ground in Ludhiana on December 31, 2024.
The local administration has deployed 3500 Police personnel to ensure law and order. Ludhiana DC Jitendra Jorwal has informed that the administration is expecting approx 40 thousand to 50 thousand fans to attend the event. The final number is with the organisers. Diljit's live concert in Ludhiana will not only entertain the people but will also strengthen the cofers of Punjab Government.
How much will the Punjab Government earn from Diljit's Ludhiana concert?
As per Dainik Bhasker report, the government is expected to get crores of rupees in the form of tax. The government is expected to earn Rs 4.50 crore in the form of tax from this show. Tickets worth about Rs 25 crore (including GST) are expected to be sold.
People from not only Punjab but also from other states will come to attend Diljit's show. About 50 thousand tickets have been sold. The show is at PAU Football Stadium. The administration will get Rs 26.50 lakh from Diljit for the show. Out of this, Rs 3.15 lakh will be given to the government in the form of tax. Apart from this, there are programs of other singers in many other cities today.
Diljit has previously performed in many states of India. The show in Chandigarh on December 14 was also in the news. This show was considered to be his last show in India. However, later he announced the Ludhiana show. This is his first show in Punjab. Before the Chandigarh show, Diljit met Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann at his residence in Chandigarh. Diljit has already performed in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Indore, and Guwahati.
