Punjabi singer & actor Diljit Dosanjh on Friday released his new song titled 'Don'. Diljit Dosanjh's new song Don has been released on the day when the Punjabi singer is all set to perform in Chandigarh on December 14, 2024. What is even more interesting is Diljit's new song Don has a twist of none other than Bollywood's 'King Khan' Shah Rukh Khan.

To be precise, Diljit Dosanjh's new song starts with Shah Rukh Khan introducing him in 'DON' style. After Shah Rukh Khan's monologue in background ends, the Punjabi singer's song starts. Diljit has expressed his gratitude to SRK for giving his 'baritone' voice in his new song DON. Diljit on Thursday shared a teaser tagging Shah Rukh Khan which reads, "Agar Sab Se Uper Tikna Hai Toh Maa Ki Duaa Chahiye... ONE & ONLY KING ... @iamsrk."

The song has been written by Roop Bhullar, Diljit Dosanjh, and the music has been given by G-Funk. It is pertinent to mention here that Diljit and Shah Rukh Khan share a cordial bond on the professional front. For the unversed, it was Shah Rukh Khan who recommended Diljit Dosanjh for the movie Amar Singh Chamkila.

During The Great Indian Kapil Show, Kapil Sharma asked Imtiaz Ali why he cast Diljit Dosanjh in Amar Singh Chamkila. Kapil pointed out that neither Imtiaz knew Diljit nor did he ever work with him, so how and why did he rope the Kinni Kinni singer? In response, Imtiaz Ali dropped Shah Rukh Khan's name.

Imtiaz said, "Mujhe Shah Rukh Khan ne bola tha ki agar is mulk main sabse achha koi actor hain, toh paa ji hain. (Shah Rukh Khan once said that if there is someone who is best in terms of acting India is none other than Diljit)". This statement made Parineeti exclaim, “Wow!” and the audience cheered loudly. Unable to believe this, Dosanjh joked, “Shayad mood main honge. (Maybe he was in the mood)."
