Security preparations for Diljit Dosanjh's Chandigarh Concert
A hearing took place in Punjab & Haryana HC over Diljit's concert in Chandigarh. Although the court gave a green signal for the concert to go ahead, it also gave the Chandigarh administration some directions.
The Chandigarh Administration informed the court that 2400 policemen have been deployed for the concert. They will handle traffic along with security. The personal security of the organizers will also help. Furthermore, the administration informed that the sound limit will be fixed so that people in the area not attending the concert don't get disturbed.
The administration informed the court, "There are small machines to measure the sound. The sound of the speaker is also fixed. It will be kept up to 75 decibels only. This much sound will not even go outside the ground. We can install noise monitors to ensure that the noise limit is not crossed."
