While comedian Samay Raina's India's Got Latent has undoubtedly become one of the most famous and talked about contemporary shows online, he is now under legal scrutiny over 'vulgar & offensive' language that is used in his show. As per reports, an FIR has been filed against podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, comedian Samay Raina, influencer Apoorva Mukhija and the makers of India's Got Latent. Recently, Ranveer Allahbadia and Apoorva featured as judges in India's Got Latent which was dropped on YouTube for a members-only section.
Despite this, many clips from the members-only section went viral on social media. One clip that sparked a massive uproar on social media was Ranveer Allahbadia's bizarre question from a contestant. In fact, netizens started to demand strict action against Allahbadia and the makers of the show. Below is what Ranveer Allahbadia asked-
"Would you rather watch your parents have s*x every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever," Allahbadia had asked. Two Mumbai lawyers have filed a police complaint against Allahbadia, better known as the BeerBiceps Guy.
The seriousness of the situation can be understood by the fact that Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis also responded to it after being asked by the media. Maharashtra CM said, "I have been informed about this, though I have not watched it yet. I came to know that it was very vulgar and this was wrong. Everyone has freedom of speech but this freedom ends when we encroach upon others' freedom. Everyone has limits, if anyone crosses them, action will be taken."
Below is how netizens reacted to Ranveer Allahbadia's question at India's Got Latent.
