FIR against Samay Raina, Ranveer Allahbadia & Apoorva Mukhija over latest India's Got Latent episode

In a massive development, an FIR has been filed against comedian Samay Raina, podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, and influencer Apoorva Mukhija. Yes! you heard it right. Ranveer Allahbadia and Apoorva Mukhija were recently part of the judging panel on Samay Raina's show India's Got Latent. While India's Got Latent latest episode was dropped for the members-only section on YouTube, its multiple clips went viral on social media. While India's Got Latent has undoubtedly become one of the most talking points in India, its unfiltered raw content goes too far most of the time. 

Apart from Samay, Ranveer, and Apoorva, the complaint has also been filed against India's Got Latent makers. As per reports, the complaint has been filed with the Mumbai Commissioner and Maharashtra Women's Commission for allegedly using abusive language on the show and strict action has been demanded against the accused in the letter.

The seriousness of the issue can be understood by the fact that Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis has warned that strict action will be taken against Allahbadia, known for his "BeerBiceps" channel. "Action will be taken if limit has been crossed....freedom of speech can't be taken for granted...," said Maharashtra CM as quoted by Times Now. 

Notably, Ranveer Allahbadia has been facing ire of netizens on social media after his bizarre question from a contestant on India's Got Latent went viral. "Would you rather watch your parents have s*x every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever," Allahbadia had asked. 

Legal trouble on India's Got Latent intensifies

As per Mirror Now, the Hindu IT Cell has filed a complaint against Samay, Ranveer, and Apoorva. Hindu IT Cell in their complaint alleges that such shows, podcasts, such comments hurt the social fabric of the country. The complaint is demanding regulation of content on social media platforms. 

For those who are unaware, India's Got Latent is inspired by the American show Kill Tony.
