As per the information received, the two parties got into a dispute over an old rivalry outside the gym.
During this, one party fired bullets. Fortunately, no one was injured in this incident. While giving information about the case, Akunsh said that Pradhan is making efforts to stop drug abuse. The other party threatened him regarding this matter. He said that Pradhan is getting the SC Act papers cancelled. In such a situation, people may have attacked due to enmity regarding this matter, but fortunately, the Pradhan was not shot in the incident.
Maqsudan Gym Firing Details
On receiving the information of the incident, the investigating officer who reached the spot said that he had received information about firing outside the gym around 10 o'clock. IO ASI Sham Lal from Thana 1 said that it is not yet known how many bullets were fired. The investigating officer said that the CCTV cameras installed outside the gym are being scanned. ASI further that on the spot they came to know that the incident was carried out by 2 persons. At the same time, the victim Pradhan said that he had come to the gym as usual.
During this time 2 persons came and one of them shot at him from behind, but the bullet got stuck. During this time Pradhan said that he took out his licensed weapon. After which the attackers fled from the spot. During this time the attackers fired while running away.
The victim said that both of them had their faces covered. The victim said that the investigating officer is trying to seize the weapon. Regarding seizing the weapon, Pradhan said that the investigating officer is saying that he has received orders from higher officials, so his weapon will be seized.
The victim said that he is already getting threatening calls, in such a situation if he loses his life then the police will be responsible for it. The victim said that when he asked the investigating officer about providing him security, he told him that he could take the security using his own money.
