Mahavir Jayanti
The government of Punjab has announced a one-day holiday to mark the birth anniversary of Lord Mahavir, the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism.
April 13, Sunday
Vaisakhi
The Punjab Government has announced the closure of all kinds of institutes, if any are working on Sunday, to mark the auspicious festival, which is celebrated as the New Year of Punjab. It is significantly celebrated as the harvest festival in the state.
April 14, Monday
Ambedkar Jayanti
According to the list released by the Government of Punjab, Monday will be a holiday in institutes all across the state to honor Dr BR Ambedkar, the father of the Indian Constitution, on his birth anniversary.
