Gujarat mysterious disease outbreak or Kachchh epidemic; well this is what has scared the Gujaratis and the people of India ever since the state reported at least 13 deaths and the reason is yet to be found. Yes! you heard it right. Gujarat's Kachchh district is witnessing unprecedented circumstances due to a mysterious disease. Kachchh mysterious disease spread after the region suffered heavy rainfall in the area. The doctors of the region are also puzzled as they are yet to diagnose the disease accurately.

District Panchayat member Mamad Jung informed a news portal that a 12-year-old died .. in Sandro village adjacent to Bhekhda village. "The only thing on people's minds is what kind of fever this is that can't be treated even in Bhuj-Ahmedabad?" added Mamad Jung Jat.

What are Kachchh mysterious disease symptoms?

As per reports, the patients who died from the Gujarat mysterious disease had symptoms like fever, cold, cough, and pneumonia. Young patients had reduced immunity following high fever and died of lung and liver damage.

The district health department reportedly could not verify the type of fever and said that it would only be confirmed after the report comes from Gandhinagar. They are currently investigating the situation.

With Kachchh mysterious disease started to take a political turn, a team of experts was sent from Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Medical College in Rajkot and Gujarat Adani Institute of Medical Sciences to find out the cause of death. The team has been asked to submit the report to the state government within two days.

It is said that all the patients died without the fever being cured. Amit Arora, the collector of Kachchh was quoted saying, "...deaths appear to have been caused by pneumonia. It does not appear to be from contamination nor does it seem like a communicable disease..Samples are being collected for testing against dengue, malaria, H1N1 swine flu, and pneumonia. The family members of the affected are being provided updates, and 22 teams from the Health Department are keeping a close watch on this."
