However, Mandi’s Lok Sabha seat has become the most talked about during the assembly elections. The Lok Sabha Election fight between Real Himachal King Vikramaditya Singh and Bollywood Queen Kangana Ranaut is what has made it the most popular seat.
Vikramaditya Singh hails from a royal family in Himachal Pradesh. His father Late Veer Bhadra Singh was the former CM Of HP. He has been the CM of Himachal 6 times and this time his son is all set to contest for the upcoming assembly election. Vikramaditya Singh’s father was the most famous leader of the upper Himachal class. Vikramaditya Singh emerged as the winner in Bushahr after his father passed away on 8th July 2021. Apart from his father, Vikramaditya Singh’s mother has also been the prominent face of Mandi. MP Pratibha Singh won the by-election after BJP’s sitting MP died by suicide. Pratibha Singh has been the President of Congress from Mandi.
Vikramaditya Singh has been the MLA from Shimla Rural twice. He is currently serving as the PWD officer in the government. As her mother is not contesting for election this time, so he has decided to put his foot forward.
Delving into Bollywood queen Kangana Ranaut. Actress Kangana Ranaut and Vikramaditya Singh both are from Mandi and belong to the Rajput community. From the time, both have been announced as the candidates for Lok Sabha Elections from Mandi, there has been quite a tussle between them. While Kangana Ranaut has made some personal comments on Vikramaditya Singh, he has also been giving his responses in the wittiest way possible.
Kangana Ranaut is quite close to PM Modi who has also carried out rally in Madi in her favour. Although Kangana Ranaut is BJP’s face for upcoming elections, Jairam Thakur is the man behind providing help to Kangana. BJP has remained victorious in Mandi for two times in the last 3 elections. In the year 2009, Vikram Aditya Singh’s father Veer Bhadra Singh won the seat. Later in 2014, 2019 BJP’s Ram Swaroop Sharma emerged as the winner. However, he took his life after which Pratibha Singh emerged victorious from Mandi.

However, her outspoken nature and little political experience can go against her in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
