Jatin Ahuja said, "It is a science. This is why people come to us because we give them the right advice. People ask us how cars which have run only 200 to 400km come to them. Why do people sell those cars? Are the people mad that they first buy and soon sell those cars? But, I will tell you the exact reason. People make mistakes while buying a car. If you buy a Porsche and you think it will be comfortable, that is not the characteristic of the car. If you buy a BMW X6 to sit in the rear seat with a driver, you will end up selling the car after three months. I am not a BMW dealer, I am not an Audi dealer, I am not a Mercedes dealer, we know exactly what the other person wants. We understand their requirements and we give them the same product that will satisfy them.
It's science. For which car to buy, if I start speaking on this, it will take at least 2 hours. We have to make them understand that if your car runs 50,000 KM, which car should you buy, so it's a full science. We work as a consultant for our customers, and this is the reason why we never took a dealership of any brand. "
Best luxury cars for long-distance and short-distance
On being asked if he had to buy a Sedan, SUV, and a Sports Car then which car he would buy, Jatin said, "I will leave the sedan because I am not able to sit in it anymore. I am used to SUVs now because there is so much room inside. If I have to buy one car that will depend on the requirement. Suppose you have to go to Ludhiana from Delhi or you have to travel within Delhi, it all depends on the requirement."
Shamani then gave his situation saying that he lives in Mumbai and he has to travel within the city in massive traffic. "I generally sit behind in the car or I sit beside the driver, but I don't drive the car," added Shamani.
Best luxury SUV to buy on Diwali 2024
On this Jatin Ahuja recommended, "You can go in for either (Mercedes) GLS or you can go in for Range Rover. If my SUV runs 100 km or more than that I will buy Toyota Land Cruiser or Lexus. Because Lexus is more reliable."
"We need to understand the basic difference between Range Rover and Land Cruiser. Range Rover is a girlfriend and Land Cruiser is your wife. Your wife will be with you your entire life but your girlfriend is high on maintenance. So you have to spend 10 times more on the Range Rover than the Land Cruiser. If you do not drive that much then buy the Range Rover. Of course you will get great pleasure in Range Rover but if you drive it for too many kilometers then it will need high maintenance which at times becomes difficult."
Best luxury Sedan to buy on Diwali 2024
On being the best Sedan to buy, Jatin said, "If you have the budget, there are M5 series or long wheelbases series makes much more sense. If I have a budget for S class, 7 series, I would like to take a long wheelbase which we call Maybach. An S500 Maybach is not just L. If you buy it in London, it is of regular size, in India, all are long wheel models. When you take extra-large then it is called Maybach.
If I am into gadgets, then I will buy the Seven series. But, I don't want all these things or show off. So, I will go for a longer version of Mercedes in S-Class Maybach.
Best Sports Car to buy on Diwali 2024
On Sports Car, "Sports Cars are very subjective. For example, Porsche is hard on drive and handling, the G4 is convertible, and MClearn is also convertible. I am not interested in sports car, but if I have to buy, I will keep a Bently Convertible in my garage. Bently Convertible drives like a S-Class.
