Punjabi singer Inderjit Nikku on Tuesday addressed ongoing death reports linked to him. Inderjit Nikku took to his official Instagram handle and stated that rumours are doing rounds on social media saying that Inderjit Nikku died in a car accident are fake. Rubbising rumours in his video, Inderjit Nikku lashed out at netizens spreading fake news about the Punjabi singer's death.

Inderjit Nikku shared his video with the caption saying (translated version, "I am just fine....Heartfelt thanks to those who love and care." In his video, Inderjit Nikku stated he has been getting a lot of calls from people who are inquiring about his health and asking whether he is dead. "A news was run that I have met with an accident. Ever since social media came in the hands of irresponsible people these kinds of rumours often come. First of all, I am totally fit and fine. I thank everyone who has asked about my well-being. There is no need to worry."

It is pertinent to mention here that Punjabi singer Inderjit Nikku often gets embroiled in controversies. Last year, Inderjit Nikku visited Bageshwar Dham and met Dhirendra Shastri. Inderjit Nikku's visit to Bageshwar Dham had sparked a row with a Sikh sangat expressing their displeasure over it. Reacting to it, Inderjit Nikku had then said that it is quite common for people in grief visit everywhere to pray and his visit to Bageshwar Dham and meeting Dhirendra Shastri was something similar.

Interestingly, Dhirendra Shastri recently visited Shri Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple) in Amritsar. Bageshwar Dham's head priest Dhirendra Shastri on his three days visit in Punjab said, "Punjab is the land of saints, of the brave. People of the state are loving and big-hearted. My goal is to spread the message of our culture and Sanatana across the country. I just want that foreign powers do not enter Gurudwaras or temples or lure innocent Hindus or people of any religion. That is what I am saying across the country. This is the country of Raghuvar, not Babar. In the country of Raghuvar, unless the law is not tightened around miscreants, they will continue to lure innocent Hindus and convert them. Unless this is dealt with strictly, this situation will not change."
