Jalandhar Gas Leak News: Ammonia gas was leaked in an ice factory near Domoria Bridge in Jalandhar on Saturday. A person trapped inside the factory died.  At the same time, the other companion has been taken out. Two migrants passing near the factory fainted, whose health is fine now. The police have closed the entire road and all the traffic is being sent over the Domoria bridge.

After about two hours of hard work, the fire brigade team somehow stopped the gas leakage. By then it was too late because one migrant had died by then. When the body of the said deceased was taken out, his body was badly burnt. He was sent to the hospital, where the doctors declared him dead.

At the same time, as soon as the information of the incident was received, the police of Thana-3 and the fire brigade team reached the spot. The roads will be opened again after the effect of the gas ends. Along with the ambulance that reached the spot, the doctors also treated the people who came out of the factory. Everyone's condition is now out of danger.

According to the fire brigade personnel, there were 12 walls in the upper part of the factory and some walls were below. These could be closed after about two and a half hours of effort. A 70-year-old man was trapped inside the factory. He was taken out by the fire brigade. One person somehow managed to get out from inside. A pipe was leaking. The reason for the leakage is not clear at the moment. Joint Commissioner of Police Sandeep Sharma of Jalandhar City Police also reached the crime scene with his team for investigation.
