Jalandhar Hotel owner cheated of Rs. 3 crore by 5 people

Police will soon issue summon to all of them and include them in the investigation. If the 5 accused do not cooperate with police, then they will be arrested.

In Jalandhar, Punjab, city’s famous Hotel Ramada’s owner Rajan Chopra has been duped of about Rs 3 crore. Jalandhar city police has filed a case of cheating against 5 people at Bhargava Camp police station on the statement of Rajan Chopra

The Accused have been identified as Parminder Singh Sabharwal, resident of Chhatarpur Marg DLF, Mandi Rose, New Delhi, Pavnish Sabharwal, Gurleen Kaur Sabharwal, Parmeet Sabharwal and Umesh Sahn of Archive Office Infra, resident of Bhargava Camp. Police will soon issue summon to all of them and include them in the investigation. If the 5 accused do not cooperate with police, then they will be arrested.

In the complaint given to the commissioner Police, Hotel owner Rajan Chopra had said that he came in contact with the accused, living in Delhi, through Umesh Sahn. The Accused took him into confidence and promised him profit by investing in Co-working space business. The victim had struck a deal for about Rs. 3 crore. When the accused got the money, they neither took any action on the investment nor returned the money. 

According to the Victim, a fake partnership deed was prepared by the accused by imitating the signature of Rajan Chopra. Rajan Chopra was unaware of all these things, when he got to know he immediately complained police about this matter. After a long investigation, the case has been filed by Police.
