Jalandhar Kulhad Pizza couple, Kulhad Pizza couple security, Kulhad Pizza couple Police Protection, Kulhad Pizza couple Death Threat: In a major development, Jalandhar's viral Kulhad Pizza couple has been provided security by Jalandhar Commissionerate Police. On the orders of the High Court, two security personnel have been deployed by Jalandhar City Police for the protection of the couple- Sehaj Arora and Gurpreet Kaur. The couple had filed a petition in the Punjab and Haryana High Court after receiving threats from Nihangs. The hearing of which will now be held on January 20, next year.
The Nihangs of Baba Budha Group had created a ruckus at the Kulhad Pizza shop. Kulhad Pizza couple Sahaj Arora and Gurpreet had filed a petition in the Punjab and Haryana High Court for the safety of life and property. After the protest by the Nihangs, the couple had released a video last month.
In the video, the couple had said that they would go to Sri Darbar Sahib (Golden Temple) with their family and would file their petition there. Sehaj had said that after reaching Sri Darbar Sahib I will ask whether I can wear the dastaar (turban) or not. If I am wrong then I should be punished. Sahaj's wife Gurpreet was also present with him in the video.
Apart from Nihang Singh's group, the Kulhad Pizza couple also received death threats from Canada-based gangster Arsh Dalla. A journalist named Gagandeep Singh took to his X handle and shared, "Gangster Arsh Dalla has taken responsibility for the murder of Sikh activist Gurpreet Singh Hari Nau in an audio statement. Dalla claimed that Hari Nau had morphed photos of a woman and verbally abused him over the phone. Dalla refuted allegations of the killing being carried out on the orders of MP Amritpal Singh. He also threatened to kill Instagram influencer Sukh Ratia, the Kulhad Pizza couple, and Kamal Kaur if they continue making videos."
