A man from Jalandhar has died under suspicious circumstances in Greece. He had gone to Greece around 5 years ago. He has been identified as 42-year-old man named Dharminder Singh Lucky. Dharminder Singh Lucky was a resident of Mohalla Baghwala, Shahkot. His body was found on the seashore.
Lucky's death has been confirmed by his elder brother Sarabjit Singh. His brother said that Lucky had gone to Greece about 5 years ago. A young man from a nearby village informed him about Lucky's death and shared Lucky's photo on WhatsApp. This man also called and told him that this photo was sent to him by a relative living in Greece.
Sarabjit Singh said that after a lot of efforts, he found the phone numbers of other Punjabi youths living with his brother in Greece and contacted them. They confirmed that Dharminder Singh's body has been found on the seashore and now the body is in the hospital. The cause of Lucky's death has not been known yet.
As per the information, Dharminder Singh Lucky had left his previous job 3 days ago and went somewhere else. However, none of Lucky's belongings were found near his body. Sarabjit Singh has appealed to the central government and the Ministry of External Affairs to help in bringing his brother's body to India.
