What is Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan?
The main objective of Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan is to promote sports and physical fitness among the youth of Punjab. CM Bhagwant Mann had said that this major sports event aims at channelising the unbounded energy of youth in a positive direction to wean them away from the menace of drugs. Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan has been accepted by all sections of people in Punjab and due to this it has reached in its third edition.
Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan Prize 2024
Punjab CM said that a cash prize of over Rs 9 crore will be distributed to the winners. He said that for the first time, para-sports, including Athletics, Badminton, and Powerlifting, have also been included in the Khedan Watan Punjab Dian. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that in these three sports, para-athletes from Punjab are participating in the Paris Paralympics.
The first prize will get Rs.10000 & Certificate, the second prize will get Rs.7000 & Certificate and the third prize will get Rs.5000 & Certificate.
Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan Selection Process
The selection process usually involves preliminary tests and assessments at multiple levels, from district to state level. Participants will be evaluated based on their performance in these tests, and those who perform better will be moved to the next step.
