Italian luxury car manufacturer Lamborghini has made a significant entry into the Indian market with the launch of its first hybrid supercar, the Revuelto. This move is part of Lamborghini's global strategy to embrace hybrid technology and sustainability while maintaining its reputation for high-performance sports cars.

The Revuelto, priced at ₹8.89 crore (ex-showroom), is a successor to the Aventador and represents a significant leap forward in technology and performance. The car's design language draws inspiration from Lamborghini's recent limited-edition models, incorporating a new signature ‘Y’ theme on the LED DRLs and the iconic scissor doors, which have become a signature element of the flagship Lamborghini.

Inside the cabin, the Revuelto offers a futuristic and driver-centric environment, featuring a vertically-stacked 8.4-inch infotainment screen, a 12.3-inch digital console, and a 9.1-inch screen providing various details about the car. Combining advanced technology and luxurious craftsmanship creates an immersive driving experience for enthusiasts and collectors alike.

Under the hood, the Revuelto is powered by a newly developed naturally aspirated V12 engine, delivering an impressive 803 bhp maximum power and 712 Nm of peak torque. Combined with three electric motors, the output is further boosted to a staggering 1001 bhp. This hybrid powertrain, coupled with a new 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, propels the car from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.5 seconds, with a top speed of 350 kmph.

One of the most remarkable features of the Revuelto is its advanced carbon fiber construction. The car is based on an all-carbon monocoque chassis and is the first supercar to feature a 100% carbon fiber front structure, including the front-impact structures made from forged carbon. This innovative design enhances the car's performance and underscores Lamborghini's commitment to lightweight construction and sustainability.

Furthermore, the Revuelto has a 3.8 kWh battery pack, enabling it to travel up to 10 km on electric propulsion alone. With 13 driving modes, the car offers a versatile driving experience tailored to the driver's preferences and road conditions.

In the Indian market, the Revuelto will be sold as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) and will compete directly with Ferrari's SF90, another plug-in hybrid supercar in the segment. This competition is expected to drive innovation and elevate the standards of hybrid supercars in the country, offering consumers a wider range of options in the luxury sports car segment.

Lamborghini's foray into the Indian market with the Revuelto represents a significant milestone for the brand as it continues to push the boundaries of automotive engineering and redefine the future of high-performance, sustainable mobility. The launch of the Revuelto underscores Lamborghini's commitment to delivering uncompromising performance while embracing hybrid technology and environmental responsibility.
