In a major development, senior BJP leader and BJP Kisan Morcha Punjab State General Secretary Satnam Singh Bitta recently received a threatening call from an international number. Satnam Singh Bitta of Jalandhar reportedly was threatened on a call in which he was warned to leave or quit the 'anti-farmers party'. Calling BJP an 'anti-farmer party', the caller threatened that he will blow up Satnam Bitta and his family if does not quit the saffron party. The number is said to be from Pakistan.
In a complaint to the Police Commissioner, Satnam Bitta reportedly said that at 11.15 am he received a threat from a Pakistani number +92305565843 that he and his family would be killed. Meanwhile, he was called from a WhatsApp number and told that if he did not leave the farmers' leadership and Modi-led BJP, he would be blown into pieces.
Bitta said that he is with BJP and Modi and will always be. He has given full information about the threat received to Jalandhar Police Commissioner Swapan Sharma. As per reports, the Police has assured to conduct a thorough investigation in this regard. The team is investigating whether this call was made from Pakistan or somewhere else.
