In a horrific development, a leopard attacked multiple wildlife officials who tried to rescue it without any protection in the Ganderbal district of Kashmir. As per reports, the incident took place on Wednesday morning during which two women and a wildlife employee were injured after a leopard attacked them in the Fatehpura area of the Ganderbal district. As per local Kashmir media reports, the leopard attacked two women and a wildlife officer who were present at the spot. This sparked panic in the area and a team of wildlife department officials arrived at the spot. However, the rescue of the leopard went wrong as well. Kashmir leopard video has surfaced on social media and it has sparked a major debate. While many are raising questions over the technique used by officials to rescue the leopard, others are lauding the officials for keeping their calm.
In the Kashmir leopard attack video, it can be seen the big cat was confronted by a man arguably a wildlife officer. The leopard then jumped onto him and bit his hand with its jaws. Seeing this other officials come and beat down the leopard so that it leaves the officer's hands.
As per reports, the leopard was later rescued alive by authorities. As soon as the clip went viral, many came forward and expressed their anger over wildlife officials not being ‘trained’. Below is what netizens said-
