Team India's former Head Coach Ravi Shastri on Friday revealed a dressing room chat with players after Virat Kohli & Co were bundled at 36 runs against Australia. For those who have forgotten, Team India led by Virat Kohli were registered their lowest-ever score during the Pink Ball Test in Adelaide in 2021. Team India were all out of just 36 runs and Virat Kohli-led squad had to face global humiliation and trolling. Now, Team India's former Head Coach Ravi Shastri who is on commentary duty for the Australia vs Pakistan Test series revealed how he motivated the squad.

Ravi Shastri was asked by an Australian commentator how he boosted the morale of the Team when they registered their lowest-ever total in Test international. Ravi Shastri in his unique style stated that he told them to 'Just Chill'. Narrating what happened inside the dressing room after Team India's poor display of cricket, Shastri said, "There was pin-drop silence for the next 48 hours. I told them to just chill and try to enjoy the evening. Make sure you all have a great evening. Meet me or regroup just 12 hours before the Boxing Day Test Match."

Notably, after miserably going down in the first Test match, Team India won the series 2-1 in the absence of Virat Kohli and many other senior players. Ajinkya Rahane handled the Team's captaincy and it was the first time Team India registered a Test series victory in Australia. Team India breached the Gabba fortress where the mighty Australian did not lose a Test match for many years.
